The Bastionsgarten you are about to explore is a reconstruction created in 1998, inspired by the knowledge transmitted through the Hortus Eystettensis book and descriptions. While the original garden no longer exists, this contemporary interpretation preserves its core ideas and horticultural knowledge, offering a glimpse into how the historic garden once shaped the site.

3 This digital walk through the garden lets you experience the garden’s atmosphere from anywhere. The colours, the flowers and plants, the views across the landscape. Listen to the audiorecording of the garden to get an impression of the soundscape!
